Services offered to commissioners (archive)
NHS Direct offered a range of services to NHS commissioners — 111, telephone triage, remote clinical assessment, medicines advice, long-term-condition support, DNA-management (appointment reminders), helpline services and digital service delivery.
These offers ended when NHS Direct was dissolved in March 2014. Similar services are now offered by a range of NHS and third-sector providers under contracts held by ICBs and NHS England.
